Marianne Simon
Bring one of the most soulful voices on grief as a portal to transformation to your next event
About Marianne
Brought up in a household of artists, Marianne Simon is a lifelong writer, performer, and director. She also spent two decades working as a landscape designer and environmental educator, inspiring audiences to create sustainable gardens that nourished the earth and nurtured the soul.
Her life changed irrevocably in 2017 when her husband entered the hospital for a routine surgery and never came home. Since then, Marianne has navigated that profound loss by transforming her grief into powerful creative expression.
In 2019, she wrote, produced, and performed her one-woman play, Widows Anonymous. She is also the author of There Be Dragon: Navigating Life After Loss, a collection of poems and essays that trace her journey from despair to an unexpected and reimagined life. One full of joy, love and adventure.
Today she continues to create and speaks about the transformative power of grief and the wisdom within us to navigate that journey.
